With our house finally complete and its intended use to be a clubhouse for friends, we hosted a New Year’s Eve/Hat making party to ring in 2009. At the time, we had just found out that Sylvia was pregnant, but it was too early to tell anyone. She told people that she had a sore throat and that is why she wasn’t drinking.
